 This website is operated by Sheer. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Sheer. Sheer offers this website, including all information, tools and services available from this site to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here.

By visiting our site and/ or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/ or contributors of content.

Please read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing or using our website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Any new features or tools which are added to the current store shall also be subject to the Terms of Service. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

To be eligible to purchase Items on this Website you must:

a) be the holder of a valid debit/credit card.

b) warrant that the personal information which you are required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate and current in all respects.

    You agree not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you are not authorised to use.

    By using this site you agree to comply with, and be bound by, these Terms.

    We may from time to time change these Terms at our sole discretion. By using this Website after any such change(s), you agree to comply with, and be bound by, the Terms as changed.

    Making a purchase

    When you order an Item from Sheer you are offering to buy it for the price stated, subject to these Terms.

    You will be guided through the process of placing an order by a series of instructions on the Website. You place your order for Items from the Website by clicking on the Purchase Now button at the end of the online order process.

    Once you have placed your order, we will send you an email acknowledging the exact details of your order, providing you with an order reference and the total value of your order. This is not an order confirmation or order acceptance from Sheer.

    Unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order in accordance with the Returns policy set out in Returns Policy section below, our acceptance of your order and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place when you receive an email from us notifying you that we have dispatched the Items ordered by you.

    Our acceptance of your order will be deemed complete and received by you at the time and date of sending of the email, which time and date is specified on the email. The deemed time and date of receipt by you shall apply regardless of whether, for reasons outside our control, you have not received that email.

    We may not accept your order if (i) an item you have ordered is out of stock, (ii) if your card is due to expire within 28 days of your purchase date (iii) we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment or (iv) if we identify a product or pricing error. We reserve the right to reject any offer to purchase by you at any time and at our sole discretion.

    If we are unable to fulfill your order following our order acknowledgement, we will contact you by email or written communication advising you of this. See the Returns policy set out in section 3b below.

    We will try to keep our Website as up to date as reasonably possible, but cannot guarantee that any particular Item will always be available. If we can't supply any Item we will release the funds being held in your account for the purchase.

    Price and Delivery

    Orders

    Currency: Your card will be charged in Hong Kong Dollars.

    The price displayed to you at the checkout is the price you pay. Refunds will also be set at the price you paid in Hong Kong Dollars.

    DDP: Please note that Sheer does not cover any duties and tax charges. Such charges are borne by the customer and we advise customers to check with their local customs and regulations offices before placing an order. Sheer will not be responsible for nor provide refunds in relations to any DDP charges.

    While we try and ensure that all details, descriptions and prices that appear on the website are accurate, there may be cases where errors occur. If we discover an error in the price of a product, we shall be under no obligation to accept or fulfill an order for that product at the incorrect price. If an error in the price of any products that you have ordered is discovered, Customer Care will inform you of this as soon as possible.

    We aim to deliver your chosen items to the place and person of your choice, in perfect condition and in the shortest possible time. Our delivery charges are dependent on your shipping destination. Please refer to our delivery section to view timing and costs. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only. Sheer cannot take responsibility for delays owing to customs clearance or payment issues. If you wish to track your parcel, please refer to the email you were sent containing your tracking number or alternatively email us at customercare@sheerlingerie.com and we will track your shipment for you.

    Please order from Sheer with enough lead-time to prevent any loss or disappointment resulting from the delivery time as Sheer cannot be responsible for this.

    If your order will not be delivered within the timeframe specified at ordering we will notify you and try to rectify the situation as quickly as is practically possible.

    All new orders are deemed separate and each is treated individually.

    As Sheer online purchases may be delivered to addresses other than the billing address given by the card holder, for example as with the case of a gift being purchased and addressed to a friend, as a security precaution, an email will be sent to the cardholder’s registered email address, and we will require a signature upon delivery for all goods shipped.

    Return and Exchange Policy

    Customer satisfaction is always our top priority, and as such we handle each query on an individual basis to the best of our ability. While we hope that you are delighted with your order, if you are not perfectly satisfied with your goods we will happily offer you a full refund.

    Please read our return policy carefully to ensure you can proceed with your request as quickly as possible.

    Any sale item is not eligible for refund via original payment method. Only store credit refunds are available for the return of sale items.

    All returns should be sent back to us in their original condition provided. Please ensure when returning the parcel that any packaging is properly protected. 

    You have 21 days from receipt of order to request your returns number, which will be displayed online and emailed to you. Unsuitable items must then be returned within 14 days of receiving your returns number. Returns outside this window may be accepted at our discretion. The item(s) should be returned unworn and in perfect condition, with all Sheer and designer garment tags still attached. Returns that are damaged, soiled or returned without their original labels may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.

    To ensure your return is covered by our returns policy and does not encounter a delay, items must be returned using the original packaging provided and from the same country to which they were delivered.Items returned from a different country may incur additional charges or be delayed by customs. You can return using any secure means but we may not accept liability.

    Before your parcel leaves our warehouse, it is fully checked and controlled by our packing team. If you receive an item which is damaged, please contact us immediately. Where provided, any designer packaging such as authenticity cards, dust bags and leather tags should be included in your return.

    Returns may not be accepted if the strip has been removed or if the items are soiled, and may be sent back to the customer.

    If your item is faulty (i.e. received damaged or with a manufacturing fault), we can offer alternatives such as repair or exchanges or refund.

    The maximum number of entries per person allowed during a contest period is as the contest has specified. Any attempt by a person to submit more than the stated maximum number of entries will be disqualified from participation in such contest.     The winner(s) of a contest will be selected at random from the qualifying entries and will be contacted via email within three working days following the draw.     Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.

    PROMOTIONS

    Promotions are applicable only within the time frame as advertised. All promotions can only be enjoyed if all products purchased under the promotion are not returned. If a customer returns a product discounted under a promotion, all other items immediately become full priced again, as the promotion becomes void.

    RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

    What is your return policy for online purchases?

    Any return or exchange request must be made within 21 days of delivery.

    For all online orders, any non-sale item is eligible for a monetary return or exchange.

    Only full-priced items will be eligible for monetary return to your original payment method.

    For sale products (except final sale items), we accept exchanges or returns in the form of online store credit only. Please note that items purchased with store credit cannot be returned or exchanged. All final sale items, or items that are purchased as part of the final sale promotion, are not eligible for exchange or return.

    Please note that shipping charges on your original order are not refundable, and all refunds will be processed to the original form of payment.

    Do I have to pay for the return shipment?

    For orders within Hong Kong, we offer complimentary returns via SF express.

    For orders outside of Hong Kong, we are happy to provide an easy returns process. Email us and we'll send you a return label.

    Returns within Asia: HK$100 processing fee.

    Returns outside of Asia: HK$250 processing fee.

    A flat rate will be deducted from your returns as a processing fee.

    Can I return sale items purchased online?

    All sale items purchased online can only be returned for online store credit and will be processed online only, unless you bring the item to our boutique in person for an immediate exchange - then in which case we will process it in store for you.

    If you choose to mail your return back to us, upon receiving your returned item, we will send you the store credit in the form an email within 5 working days. Please contact customercare@sheerlingerie.com if you do not receive your store credit email. Store credit can only be used at Sheer online and cannot be used at our boutique nor exchanged for cash. All store credit from returned sale items is valid for 1 year from date of issue, and can only be used once for exchange.

    *Please note that sale items purchased in our boutique are not eligible for return or refund.

    How do I initiate an online return?

    Log into your Sheer account via our website and select the order you wish to return.

    Click 'Request Return' and select the items you wish to return and click request.

    You will receive a confirmation within 5 business days regarding your return request.

    Once your return request is approved, you may send the item back to us. If you are outside of Hong Kong, our team will respond to you via email to arrange your shipping label.

    How do I exchange an item for my online order?

    If you would like to exchange your item for a different size or colour, please email us at customercare@sheerlingerie.com for arrangements. If you wish to exchange for a different style, please initiate a return for your original item and put in a new order instead.

    *Please ensure that all items are returned in its original condition with all tags and protective liners still attached at the time of return. For personal items, such as hosiery, underwear or adhesive products, the packaging must be unopened and intact. Items cannot have been worn, altered, opened, or washed as well.

    Can I come to your Boutique for exchange or return of my online order?

    Once you confirm that your item is eligible for a refund or exchange, you can definitely bring it to our boutiques and arrange for a refund or exchange. Our boutique staff will be happy to help you process the return. Any refund for full-priced items of an online order will be provided to you in the same method of payment; and in the form of online store credit for sale items. Please provide up to 10 working days for the refund to appear in your account.

    DUTIES & TAXES

    Will I have to pay duties and taxes?

    Import tax and duties may be applicable, depending on the destination country. You are responsible for all import tax and duties. Please ensure that you check all the local rules and regulations prior to purchase. If you refuse to pay for the duties & taxes, and as a result the shipment is returned to us, we will have to charge you for both the shipping and also return fee of the items. The courier will contact you with further details for customs clearance. Please note that customs clearance procedures may delay the delivery time.

    How are Duties & Taxes calculated?

    All applicable duty and tax calculations are automatically generated based on the provided shipping address. These amounts are stated clearly during the checkout process for your review before finalizing the order.

    Confirmation of Duty & Tax Charges

    Customers are responsible for reviewing and verifying all duties & taxes details at checkout. By finalizing the payment, the customer confirms they have fully reviewed the duties & taxes and agree to be responsible for all stated charges.

    These charges are collected to ensure a smooth delivery process to your destination.

    GIFTING & POLICY

    Do you have Gift Card? What are your Gift Card policies?

    Yes, we do! We offer Digital Gift Card and Boutique Gift Card. Gift cards are final sale and valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

    Do you have a gift wrapping option?

    Yes we do! Gift wrap includes a open top box with a delicate tie ribbon, with a paper bag for easy carrying. Any messages can be delivered too with our Sheer cards. Add HK$50 for our luxurious packaging at check out.

    IN STORE PURCHASE

    What is your in store purchase policy?

    For all purchases made at our boutique, only exchanges or refund to store credit is permitted within 21 days for any non-sale item.

    All items returned must be in its original condition and unopened packaging, and cannot have been worn, altered, opened, or washed. Additionally, all tags and protective liners must still be attached.

    Sale items cannot be returned or exchanged.

    Please make sure all these criteria are met to be eligible for returns or exchange.
